One of our Volume XIV editors BJ Yoho will be participating in the TEDxBloomington Sustain(Ability) event later this month. It takes place Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium.

Because of Covid-19, we couldn’t have our usual magazine release party, but we’ve done our best to put together a virtual celebration.
Thank you to this year’s editors, contributors, and all those who helped make this volume happen — the Ivy Tech-Bloomington English Department, Obie James, Annette Spurgeon, and Ivy Tech-Bloomington Facilities and Security.

This contest is open to students at the following high schools in or near Bloomington, Indiana: The Academy, Bloomington High School South, Bloomfield, Loogootee, Eastern Greene, Spring Valley, and Bloomington High School North.

If you’d like a print copy of root and branch XII, please stop by the Resource and Involvement Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 1.30-4.30 and Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 9.00-1.00 (both in Shreve Hall). We’ll be distributing the remaining copies there.
And don’t forget our submission deadline is December 1.
